Match Preview

Cross Keys v Swansea Principality Premiership

Cross Keys will look to bounce back from last Friday's defeat at Pontypridd when they host Swansea at Pandy Park this Friday evening.

The All Whites have had a poor season to date with just one victory from their 11 games played so far, although they have been affected somewhat by Ospreys call ups. The sole victory was a comfortable 32-13 win over fellow strugglers Aberavon at St. Helens on the second week of the season. Swansea are definitely a better side than they're currently league position would suggest.

In the fixture between Keys and Swansea at St. Helens in September Keys recorded their first ever victory at the famous ground with a 24-15 win. For Keys Elliot Jones, Richard Cornock and Nathan crossed for tries with Dorian Jones kicking 2 conversions and 2 penalties. The all whites scored tries through James McKenna and Nicky Thomas whilst Thomas kicked both conversions.

This will be the first match for Keys new backs coach Byron Hayward, who has taken over from Mark Ring so let's hope the boys respond to the appointment with a win and performance to impress the new coach and fans alike.
