Cross Keys have been knocked out of the WRU National Cup as Llandovery claim a first victory at Pandy Park since October 2002 and book their place in the Semi Final of this year's WRU National Cup.
From the start it was clear that this was always going to be a tight, tense affair with very little to choose between the two sides.
The visitors eventually went ahead midway through the first half when outside half, Jack Maynard kicked a penalty to give the Drovers the lead after Keys had offended at the breakdown close to their own line. Keys outside half Josh Prosser had missed the chance to give Keys the lead moments before when his long range penalty fell short from some 45 metres out.
The two sides did their best to try and break through with numerous opportunities coming for each side as the half went on but it was the Drovers who remained in front at the interval.

The Keys could have levelled the scores 5 minutes in to the second half only for Josh Prosser to land another penalty attempt short.
The Keys were rewarded for a solid opening to the second half when good build up play saw winger Mathew Powell show up on the opposite wing and find himself in space to cross for the game's opening try with 50 minutes on the clock. Prosser added the conversion from out wide.
The Drovers edged back in front a little over 5 minutes later when good handling and running created a good opportunity for the visitors and scrum half Scott Maynard was able to pounce from the base of a maul to cross for the try which, despite the conversion being missed gave the Drovers a slender lead midway through the second half.
The balance tipped back in Keys' favour around 15 minutes from the end when Prosser was on target with a penalty. The lead lasted around 5 minutes as the Drovers' went outside half Jack Maynard kicked his second penalty of the game, following a dangerous tackle from Keys' Scott Andrews, which saw Keys down to 14 men with a little over 10 minutes remaining.
Despite being a man down Keys didn't throw the towel in and they went ahead with another Prosser penalty with just over 5 minutes remaining. The crucial score came with around 2 minutes remaining when Jack Maynard held his nerve to restore the Drovers one point lead with a long range penalty from around 40 metres. This score proved to be vital as the Drovers hung on to claim their place in the Semi Final draw, ahead of Keys.
