Cross Keys RFC management committee wish to express their sincere thanks to all those that have donated following the club’s recent plea for donations, whereby the club are appealing for donations to raise a total of £20000 which would enable the club to run for the remainder of the 2018/19 season and will allow the club to prepare for the future beyond the current campaign.
The online just-giving crowd fundraising campaign via https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/cross-keys-rfc has so far raised almost £6000 of the £20000 target meaning Cross Keys RFC have raised almost 30% of their total in just 10 days since the appeals launch. Donations via just giving have come from far and wide with former players, families of former players, supporters of other teams and a host of individuals all taking the time to generously donate and give what they can to help the Keys as well as pass on their best wishes for the future.
On top of the donations received online, the management have also received a number of personal donations direct to the club. Grateful thanks are sent to all those that have donated particularly the generous donations made by Keys’ supporters John Williams, Ray Walters and ‘Fletch’ who along with many others have donated to ensure that Cross Keys Rugby Football Club will survive to exist long in to the future.
Whilst the club’s management are eternally grateful to those who have donated so far, the need for donations is still very real so please give what you can via the link below or contact the club if you wish to make a donation via other means.
