Cross Keys host Aberavon this Friday evening at Pandy Park, with Keys looking for a victory to hopefully pull them away from the danger zone.
For Friday evening’s fixture Keys are once again forced in to numerous changes with several players unavailable for a variety of reasons. In the backs Keys will be without Leon Andrews, following the birth of his first child just a few days ago. With Andrews unavailable, Srdan Majkic moves to full back. On the wings there will be a first start for the club for Josh Adams, who made his debut as a replacement in the crushing defeat at Pontypridd last month and his fellow winger will be Rory Budina. In the centre Wes Cunliffe will move in from the wing to partner Dylan Fidler. With Jason Tovey once again appearing on permit for the Dragons, Keys are forced in to a change at outside half where Declan Williams starts at number 10 for the first time to partner Owain Leonard in the half back positions. Up front Scott Evans continues as tight head prop where he lines up alongside hooker Ellis Shipp, who comes in from the Dragons and Richard Cornock starts at loose head prop after making his 300th competitive appearance for Keys at Merthyr last week as a replacement. Skipper Damian Welch returns from injury to partner Scott Andrews in the second row whilst the back row sees just one change with Max Williams making his Keys debut on permit from the Dragons to replace Ieuan Jones on the flank after Jones suffered a shoulder injury at Merthyr last week.
