Cross Keys v Cardiff Met. Match Preview & Team News

After last week’s last minute victory over Glamorgan Wanderers in the Specsavers National Cup, The Keys return to league action this week as they welcome Cardiff Met. to Pandy Park for the Specsavers Championship clash, where Keys will look to kick start their league campaign with a win over the students.

The men from Cyncoed have themselves made a solid start to their domestic campaign where they drew their opening league clash against much fancied Bargoed at Cyncoed (20 – 20) before following that up last week with a crushing 62 points to 14 defeat of Ystrad Rhondda, at Cyncoed in the National Cup to seal their place in Round 2.

The Keys have made 2 changes to their side for this week’s game where Callum Hague will make his first start for Keys in place of Harvey Reader in the second row, whilst in the backs last week’s last minute try scorer Ian Newbury comes in to start in place of Wes Cunliffe on the wing.
